Notes to Draft Agenda:

The format of the meeting will follow the format of the first meeting in September 1999. Times devoted to each topic will be flexible, depending on need, but the times suggested are a rough guide.

The first meeting identified a main sponsor (a country or an organisation) which would take the lead in further work on each action point. For each topic, we will have an oral report on progress since September and on any further work expected before the SMSP meeting in September 2000. In some cases, reports may be fairly elaborate; in others, a brief statement may be all that is required.

The Report of the first meeting was sent to all participants but it is also available on the GICHD website: www.gichd.ch/docs/minebantreaty/index.htm
