Jordan ratified the Convention on 13 November 1998, and the Convention entered into force for Jordan on 1 March 1999.
In its initial transparency report submitted on 30 June of 2000, Jordan reported stockpiled anti-personnel mines under its ownership or possession or under its jurisdiction or control. In its transparency report submitted in 1 May 2003, Jordan reported that it had completed the destruction of all stockpiled anti-personnel mines. In total, Jordan reported having destroyed 92, 342 mines.
In its initial transparency report, Jordan reported areas under its jurisdiction or control in which anti-personnel mines are known or suspected to be emplaced.
