Italy ratified the Convention on 23 April 1999, and the Convention entered into force for Italy on 1 October 1999. Stockpile Destruction (Article 4)In its initial transparency report submitted on 29 March 2000, Italy reported stockpiled anti-personnel mines under its ownership or possession or under its jurisdiction or control. In 2002, Italy reported that it had completed the destruction of all stockpiled anti-personnel mines. In total, Italy reported having destroyed 7,112,811 mines. |
