Kenya ratified the Convention on 23 January 2001, and the Convention entered into force for Kenya on 1 July 2001. Stockpile Destruction (Article 4)In its initial transparency report submitted on 27 December 2001, Kenya reported stockpiled anti-personnel mines under its ownership or possession or under its jurisdiction or control. In 2003, Kenya reported that it had completed the destruction of all stockpiled anti-personnel mines. In total, Kenya reported having destroyed 35,774 mines. |
