Namibia ratified the Convention on 21 September 1998, and the Convention entered into force for Namibia on 1 March 1999. Stockpile Destruction (Article 4)In its initial transparency report submitted on 7 July 2004, Namibia reported that it had completed the destruction of all stockpiled anti-personnel mines in 1998. In total, Namibia reported having destroyed 4,936 mines. |
