The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia acceded to the Convention on 9 September 1998, and the Convention entered into force for The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia on 1 March 1999.

Stockpile Destruction (Article 4)

In its initial transparency report submitted on 25 May 1999, Macedonia reported stockpiled anti-personnel mines under its ownership or possession or under its jurisdiction or control.  In its transparency report submitted on 15 April 2003, Macedonia reported that it had completed the destruction of all stockpiled anti-personnel mines. In total, Macedonia reported having destroyed 38,921 mines.
