Tunisia ratified the Convention on 9 July 1999, and the Convention entered into force for Tunisia on 1 January 2000. Stockpile Destruction (Article 4)In its initial transparency report submitted on 9 July 2000, Tunisia reported stockpiled anti-personnel mines under its ownership or possession or under its jurisdiction or control. In 2003, Tunisia reported that it had completed the destruction of all stockpiled anti-personnel mines. In total, Tunisia reported having destroyed 17,575 mines. |
