The Dutch Presidency began as the Eighteenth Meeting of the States Parties ended, and will conclude at the end of the Nineteenth Meeting of the States Parties (19MSP) on 3 December 2021. The 19MSP is scheduled to take place from 29 November to 3 December 2021, in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. H.E. Robbert Jan Gabriëlse, Permanent Representative of the Netherlands to the Conference on Disarmament, Geneva, and Disarmament Ambassador at-large, was elected President of the Nineteenth Meeting of the States Parties, at the 2019 Fourth Review Conference in Oslo.The Netherlands will lead the second year of implementation of the recently-adopted Oslo Action Plan. In addition to the 19MSP, the Netherlands will chair the following meetings in 2021:
