Eleventh Pledging Conference

Zambia as Convention President, presided over the Eleventh Pledging Conference (11PC) for the Implementation of the Convention on 9 March 2026.

The 11PC was chaired by H.E. Ambassador LUAMBIA, Eunice M. Tembo, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Zambia to the United Nations in Geneva and President of the Twenty-Third Meeting of the States Parties (23MSP).

The conference aimed to renew and strengthen commitments to the principles of the Convention and resources for implementation including through pledges of financial support to mine action, the ISU’s work plan, and the Sponsorship Programme.

In total, 44 delegations including 40 States Parties, 2 States not party, and 5 international and non-governmental organisations attended the conference:
